Pakistan Muslim League-Q central leader Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has said the entire nation was united and unanimous over security and defence of Pakistan and India should not be in any misgiving due to silence of Nawaz Sharif. He said criminal silence and indifferent attitude of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif over the martyrdom of Pakistani civilians due to Indian aggression on the Working Boundary and the Line of Control was quite deplorable.
Speaking at a press conference along with Sunni Ittehad Council Chairman Sahibzada Hamid Raza, Nasir Sheerazi of Majlis Wahdatul Muslameen and Chaudhry Fayyaz Waraich of Pakistan Awami Tehrik at the residence of former District Nazim Rana Zahid Tauseef in Faisalabad on Wednesday.
Chaudhry Parvez Elahi said that India was resorting to aggression for the last four days but Nawaz Sharif had not uttered even a single word so far, even he was the Prime Minister for limited days though but still he should have spoken something over the martyrdom of his citizens.
He claimed during his tenure as the chief minister of Punjab (2002 - 2007) every sector, including industries was rising and progressing, factories in Faisalabad were working day and night and earning precious foreign exchange through more and more exports, today industries and business were shut, electricity and gas not available but bills for the utilities had been increased manifold.
Responding to a question, Chaudhry Parvez Elahi said that only Rana Sanaullah was left for Faisalabad, they had no concern for the problems of the people, entire Punjab was being ignored. Chaudhry Parvez Elahi offered Fateha for the martyrs of the Line of Control and those who had lost their lives in 2005 earthquake and current floods and also led the 'Dua' for the success of public meeting being held in Faisalabad on October 12.
