With the confirmation of dengue virus in five more persons including four women and a teenager girl the tally of the affected persons in the district surged to 241. The provincial government has so far initiated no steps for the prevention of the dengue fever.
Spokesman, Department of Health, district Swat, Dr Haider Ali on Thursday confirmed the affecting of five more women from dengue virus. The affected women are included Pass Bibi 32, Robina 22, Humaira 37 residents of Faizabad, Samrat 21 and teenager Sumaira 10 residents of Saidu Sharif. The affected women and teenager have been admitted to the especially established Dengue Ward at Saidu Sharif Hospital.
