Samsung brings Galaxy S9 Sunrise Gold edition to US by June 24

Just a month ago tech giant Samsung introduced two stunning colors for its newly launched Galaxy S9, now the firm is bringing one of those colors to US going on sale from June 24.

Samsung launched its Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus in two new colors including Sunrise Gold and Burgundy Red with a ‘satin gloss finish’ for the gold edition that ‘wraps the smartphone in a tranquil glow and glimmer’. The Sunrise Gold color that was not available earlier in the US is now soon to be launched for the country.

According to The Verge, starting sale from June 24, the US customers will be able to get their hands on the new color variant as well alongside the already existing coral blue, lilac purple and midnight black. However, the gold S9 will be exclusively available at Samsung.com, Best Buy for Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint.

It was earlier reported that the phone with Sunrise Gold color was available for selected markets including Australia, Germany, Spain, Russia, UAE, Chile, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Mexico and Vietnam in June, with further market availability to come soon. The tech giant stated that the Sunrise Gold edition will be available for pre-order in the UK from June 22, and will be on sale in Britain from June 29.

The cost of the phone will start at $719.99 and $839.99 for the 64GB version of the Galaxy S9 and S9+ respectively, going up to $769.99 and $889.99 for the 128GB versions of the phones. It will further go up to $839.99 and $959.99 for the 256GB variants, wrote Phone World.

Samsung has described its Sunrise Gold color as, “The Sunrise Gold edition for Galaxy S9 and S9+ is Samsung’s first device to feature a satin gloss finish which wraps the smartphone in a tranquil glow and glimmer. The new Sunrise Gold color creates a feeling of both vibrancy and calm. This sophisticated finish was developed to appeal to all users by bringing a stylistic touch of high fashion and urban interior design to a user’s mobile device.”

Moreover, there is no information if the Burgundy Red edition will be available or not.
