A US drone attack killed four suspected militants while several wounded in Tirah Valley of Khyber Agency on Saturday. The drone attacked hideouts of militants on the Cancharo Kandoa area of Afghanistan near Pakistan border. The village is right on the zero-line but the area which was targeted falls under the Afghan jurisdiction.
As many as 23 people were killed in the earlier four attacks. Two of the attacks were carried out on Tuesday, the second day of Eid. Drone attacks are widely unpopular across Pakistan and according to survey conducted in June this year, 66 per cent of the country's citizens oppose these strikes.
