Weather became cool in up-country on Monday afternoon as rain-thunderstorm and gusty winds occurred at scattered places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sargodha division, while at isolated places in Rawalpindi, Zhob divisions and Gilgit-Baltistan. Meteorological department said that a westerly trough is affecting upper parts of the country and likely to persist during next 24 hours. The minimum temperature fell by at least 5 degrees Celsius in the plains of Punjab, KPK and Balochistan.
The minimum temperature 03 °C was recorded at Kalat (Balochistan) followed by Astore and Hunza 4 °C, Kalam 5 °C, Skardu 5.4 °C Gupis 6.0 °C, Rawalakot 6.4 °C.
MET OFFICE WEATHER FORECAST FOR TODAY Scattered thunderstorm/rain would occur over Quetta, Zhob, Sibbi, D.G. Khan, Sargodha, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala divisions, Islamabad, Fata, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
