JI chief calls for unity among religious forces

JI chief Sirajul Haq has underscored the need for unity of the religious forces in the country to foil the designs of anti-Islam and secular elements to alter the ideological character of this Islamic state. He was talking to the secretary general of Wifaqul Madaris, Qari Muhammad Hanif Jaulandhary, who called on him at Mansoora on Tuesday.
The JI chief said the secular forces were adopting every tactic to plunge our younger generation into the abyss of immorality, nudity and obscenity. He said that chapters on national heroes and Islamic personalities were being deleted from the study courses and articles on secular and anti-Islam personalities were being inducted. The enemy, he said, wanted to create anarchy and chaos in the country. Qari Muhammad Hanif Jaulandhry greeted the JI chief on his election to his office. He also appreciated the efforts of the JI chief for resolving the political crisis in the country.
