Four persons of a family including a couple and two children were killed and two others injured in firing over old rivalry here on Friday. Police said that armed men of rival groups opened fire at rival family in village Daro of Mitiari while it was on the way to home after attending a wedding ceremony in Jamshoro.
As a result of firing, Ali Muhammad, 45, his wife Hazooran, 30, two children Hakim, 08, and six-year-old Nizam, died on the spot while two others sustained wounds. The assailants managed to flee from the scene after committing quadrupled murder. The bodies of the deceased and injured belonging to Machi Tribe were shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities. Police have registered a case against the attackers and started raids for their arrest.
