Margalla police has arrested four kidnappers who allegedly kidnapped 22 years old female student of Islamic International University without paying ransom amount of 20 million, a police spokesman said. According to details Muhammad Faqeer Hussain lodged the report with Margalla police station that her 22-year old daughter Madia Naz was student at Islamic International University was abducted by few persons from sector G-8/3 Islamabad.
He said one of the persons contacted on his cell phone and demanded Rs 20 million as ransom from him. Police registered the case. IGP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan constituted special team under supervision of SP (Saddar) Muhammad Ilyas which also included ASP Aamir Niazi, SHO Margalla police station Ghulam Muhammad Baqir, Assistant Sub-Inspector Shakil Ahmed, ASI Khalid Mehmood and others.
Police carried out investigation on modern lines and succeed to arrest four persons namely Zulqarnain Talat, Umer Sajjad, Wajid ul Hassan and Owais. Police recovered the abducted girl safely without paying ransom amount to the kidnappers. SSP Islamabad Asmatullah Junejo has appreciated this overall performance of the Margalla police team and announced cash prizes and commendation certificates for the members of police team.
