The Business Community of Multan, Bahawalpur and Dera Ghazi Khan have strongly protested against Indian firing at Sialkot border on Sunday and killings of innocent people across the Sialkot sector Sunday. They said that 20 people have already killed due to aggression of Indian forces.
They warned India to refrain from its nefarious designs and stop the cross-border terror immediately otherwise such conflicts could turn into a full-fledged war between two nuclear neighbours, which would be destabilising for the South Asian region. They said that Pakistan has repeatedly called upon the Indian government to immediately cease-fire and help preserve peace. President of Multan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) Mian Iqbal Hassan strongly condemned Indian forces firing at Sialkot border. He appreciated the Pakistan Army for repulsing the attack and answering the Indian Army in a befitting manner. He said that all political parties should gather at this time of trial instead of playing politics on this sensitive issue. "We should tell India that we are one nation and nobody could do anything against us," he said. Mian Iqbal said that India is testing our nerves. "We want peace, but India wants to do something. It would be better for the Indian forces to cool down immediately before it is too late," he warned. Mirza Ali Ahmed Vice President of MCCI said that Indian forces should remember the 1965 War. Indian forces are well aware of the resourcefulness and passion of Pakistan Army that how our 'jawans' fight in wars.
