MQM steps up demand for separate province

The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Khawaja Izharul Hassan on Saturday said 'Mohajirs' are heirs of the land evacuated by Hindu migrants of Sindh after partition of the Sub-Continent. "We want a separate province on abandoned land of Sindh," Izhaul Hassan said while talking to media here Saturday. The MQM leader said that they first created Pakistan and then migrated to the country from India. "Landlords and feudal lords occupied the abandoned land of Sindh," he said. Izharul Hassan said that Afghans in Pakistan are not migrants but refugees.
