Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) will observe a black day across the country tomorrow (Sunday) to register its protest over the remarks of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) leader Khursheed Shah. Addressing a press conference here, MQM leader Abdul Haseeb Khan said Khursheed Shah's remarks had drawn widespread anger from the Muslim Ummah. "Even the Holy Quran contains the word 'Mohajir' at eight places," he said.
Haseeb said all the party workers will wear black arm bands and wave black flags. In a separate message, MQM Quaid Altaf Hussain urged traders and shopkeepers to keep their businesses shut on Sunday.
