Activists of Jamiat Ulema Islam (JUI-F) district Chitral on Saturday staged a protest demonstration outside press club, against the bomb blast on the party rally in Quetta. The protest was headed by JUI-F district Chitral naib ameer Wali Khan, General Secretary Gluham Qadar, Nizam Attatuallah, and deputy secretary Abdul Qadeer, along with a dozen of the workers.
They were holding placards and banner, inscribed with slogans against the bomb blast on JUI-F rally in Quetta, in which the party chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman narrowly escaped. While talking to media persons, the demonstrators said the attack on JUI-F head, was conspiracy against the Islam, adding the Ulema and religious scholars were constantly fallen prey of targeting killings and the attacks are continued on them. However, they lamented that neither tangible steps were taken to prevent such attacks, nor arrest any persons behind these terrorism activities and targeting killings. The JUI-F activists termed the attack on the party chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, was also failure on part of the provincial government of Balochistan, adding that despite passage of three-day to the incident, the culprits were yet to be arrested.
They demanded the Government of Balochistan to immediate arrest those behind the attack on JUI-F rally, and give them exemplary punishment and take steps for prevention of such incidents in the future, the demonstrators asked. Otherwise, they would expand the protests and demonstration in other parts of the KP and Balochistan. JUI-F activists also castigated the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf led coalition provincial government for its poor performance in the province, and asked them to immediate step down.
