Air Marshal Adesola Nunayon Amosu, Chief of the Air Staff, Nigerian Air Force along with 8 member delegation arrived in Islamabad on an official visit on Saturday. The high ranking Nigerian Air Force delegation is on an official visit on the invitation of Pakistan Air Force.
During the 5 day visit, the delegation will meet with the President of Pakistan, Minister of Defence, Minister of Defence Production, Chairman Joints Chiefs of Staff Committee and Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force. Moreover, the delegation will also visit various PAF bases and installations.
Air Marshal Adesola Nunayon Amosu was commissioned in Nigerian Air Force in July 1981. He is a seasoned pilot with over 6,200 flying hours on several Nigerian Air Force aircraft. During his illustrious career, he has held several Command and Staff appointments, including the Commander 101 Presidential Air Fleet, Director of Operations, Headquarters Nigerian Air Force and Air Officer Commanding Tactical Air Command. He was appointed the 19th Chief of the Nigerian Air Force on 16 January 2014.
He is a graduate of National War College, Nigeria and University of Ibadan where he obtained Master of Science degree in Strategic Studies. He has been conferred with Forces Service Star (FSS), Meritorious Service Star (MSS), Distinguished Service Star (DSS) and also a Fellow National War College.
