Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court (PHC) Justice Mazhar Alam Khan Miankhel on Saturday said that solid measures were being taken to provide facilities for law officials and facilitate litigants in the district.
Addressing as a chief guest at oath-taking ceremony of the district bar association and high court bar associations, he said a judicial complex was also being built at Pharpur tehsil at 50 kanal of land, adding work in this regard had been initiated and designing was in process to build the facility.
Such structures were also being planned, he said to build them at Darban, Kaluchi and Prova thesils and these facilities would be erected with consultations of stakeholders including the lawyers to provide best facilities under a single roof. He said family courts' judges would be transferred to the district to ease workload and resolve family disputes cases swiftly.
He added a camp of service tribunal would also be held in the district with at least two judges to hear services cases, which would help to facilitate the litigants who were waiting to get justice in service matters, he added. He also said that written examination of the posts of the civil judges would be held soon to overcome judges' shortage in the province, which would help to ease work burden and to dispose off the pending cases.
