In first official reaction to the death of Ameer Jamaat-i-Islami Bangladesh Professor Ghulam Azam, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan expressed his deep condolences and said he was among the few personalities who spent his entire life for the spread of Islamic teachings and stood firm to his principles despite facing all sorts of difficulties.
In a statement on Sunday, the Interior Minister said that his love for Islam, his services during 1971 and before that during the days of united Pakistan have left undeletable imprints in our history.
