Former Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry said on Monday there would be no compromise insofar as his defamation case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan was concerned. The former CJP spoke to media persons, after offering condolence to Akram Sheikh on the death of his wife. "This is a high-profile case and if Imran Khan considers himself as a respectful person he should also know that everyone in Pakistan is respectful."
Justice Chaudhry dismissed allegations levelled against him by Imran Khan and said the PTI chairman did not even know what a Returning Officer did. "Imran has been sold out to Musharraf," the former CJP said. Asked about his intentions to join politics, the former CJP offered no reply.
