Finance Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar will address the concluding session of International Investment Conference arranged by the Board of Investment on Tuesday (today). The minister is due in Islamabad late Monday evening after his visit to China during which he signed the MoU on establishment of AIIB besides meeting with the Chinese President, Xi Jinping who reaffirmed undertaking official visit to Pakistan.
The Finance Minister had useful talks and meetings with heads of important financial institutions including China Development Bank, Exim Bank and ICBC. He also met his Chinese counterpart, Lou Jiwei. The two ministers exchanged views on a wide-range of financial and economic matters of interest and areas of co-operation between the two countries of bilateral, regional and international importance.-PR
