Security arrangements reviewed

Deputy Inspector General of Police, Hyderabad Range called the meeting of all SDPOs and SHOs of district Hyderabad on Tuesday in order to assess security arrangements during Muharram-ul-Harram. Every SDPO along with respective SHO, was individual asked about security measures and related issued in this regard with specific stress over the inspection of seminaries, along with students and faculty members, monitoring of persons placed on 4th schedule and Jehadis.
Moreover, thorough survey of trouble spots, shops and rooftops falling on routes of the processions will continue till 10th Muharram. SDPOs were further directed to submit such certificates immediately and also submit assessment / progress report of previous three days. SDPOs, City, Market, Cantt, Baldia and Phulleli were specifically directed to maintain surveillance, monitoring and alertness, particularly on 7th Muharram over the processions of Jamaitiyon Ka Pir and main procession on 10th Muharram from Qadam Gah to Karbala Dadan Shah. SDPOs were further directed to remove all provocative wall chalking, banners pamphlets etc: with the help of stakeholders, immediately.
