The government has fixed Rs 1300 per 40-kilogram support price of wheat for the 2014-15 crop. This was announced by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, in his capacity as Chairman Economic Co-ordination Committee (ECC), in Islamabad. The decision has been taken to facilitate the farmers' community in the country who were facing difficulties due to an increase in prices of inputs.
