Security agencies have expressed concerned over the presence of ISIS members in the country. According to a private TV channel, security agencies while briefing the high officials of the government said that of the total 370 members of the ISIS who entered the country, 22 are in Karachi and remaining in other parts of the country. Officials said five commanders reached here from Australia and out of them three were stationed in Karachi and two others in Lahore.
The TV channel's report further claimed that a Muslim country was providing funds to the ISIS for carrying out its activities in the country. The ISIS has also provided funds for digging a tunnel at Karachi Central Jail, officials added.
