World number one Park In-Bee fired a one-under par 71 Sunday for a 22-under total of 266 to capture her third LGPA Tour title this season in Taipei, holding off a powerful charge from American Stacy Lewis. Lewis, currently world number two and four shots behind overnight leader Park into the final round, carded 69 but it was not enough to overtake the South Korean in the $2.0 million Fubon LPGA Taiwan Championship at the Miramar Country Club.
With Lydia Ko finishing third at 17-under thanks to a final round 66, the trio of top women golfers ended in the same order as their rankings.
The normally reserved Park showed more emotion after sinking the putt on the 18th.
"It was a tough day and I got nervous - even on the 18th hole. Sometimes with a four-shot lead, you put that much pressure," she said, adding "it was really a competitive day".
