Senior Minister for Education, Nisar Ahmed Khuhro has said that main cause beyond deaths of children in Thar was non-availability of better food and poverty in the district. He said this while speaking to a press conference held here on Sunday.
Due to non-availability better food, children become weak and easily attacked by diseases and as result, they died, he said. "The government would extend all possible support for Drought-hit victims in Thar", he said adding already hundreds of tons of wheat have been distributed among the victims and more stock wheat would be distributed among them.
Besides, the government is making all efforts to improve the education and health system in the district to provide better service there, he said.
Alike Kalabagh Dam, no one could divide Sindh province, he said, adding already there are units in form of divisions which are working in the better way. Criticising Imran Khan, he said that he was supporter of former dictator. No local government election was held in KPK so far despite of passing more one and half year, he said. He said induction of DMG group officials in the education department would bring better results.
