Two people were killed and other injured in separate incidents of violence in the city, here on Sunday. According to police and rescue sources, Wajid Hussain was shot and killed while Imran was injured by unidentified motorcyclists near Hassan Square, Gulshan-e-Iqbal. The body and injured were moved to a nearby private hospital.
In another case, a tortured body of man was recovered from Landhi's Swati Colony. Identity of the deceased could be ascertained till filing of this report. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities.
