Chairman of All Pakistan Bedsheet & Upholstry Manufacturers Association (APBUMA) and former Punjab Minister for Industries, Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi has vehemently condemned the blast at Wahga border and called the incident a "national tragedy"." The whole nation, at this moment, is in mourning over the tragedy," Roomi said. It is very painful that such a large number of people have been killed or been injured. We have been calling since long, that the entire nation needs to stand openly against terrorism, Khawaja Jalaluddin Roomi said.
President of Multan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) Mian Iqbal Hassan expressed his grief over deaths in the suicide blast at Wagah border near Lahore. He strongly condemned the blast. PTI Vice ChairmanShah Mehmood Qureshi called it "a tragic incident". "Innocent people have been killed. It is a tragedy that intelligence was shared with Punjab government that such incidents may take place but immediate action was not taken." There is a sense of insecurity in the country. I condemn this atrocity and offer my condolences to the victims. "Terrorists do not distinguish among anyone. The country needs to be united in tackling this issue," said Qureshi.
