Swat police recovered two kilograms of hashish from a Potohar jeep belonging to Education Department, district Nowshera. Two persons, including driver of the vehicle, have been arrested. SHO of district Swat's Khawazakhela police station, Hazrat Said, said that police during a search of an official Potohar jeep (Peshawar A-1630), recovered two kgs of hashish from its secret cavities.
Driver of the vehicle and an employee of the Education Department, district Nowshera, Fazal Wahab and Hanan Abdul Wadood, respectively, have been taken into custody and a case has been registered against them, he added. According to police, the accused were allegedly smuggling hashish in the official vehicle.
