Eight people were killed in separate incidents of violence in Karachi on Monday. Five unidentified men, aged between 25 and 32, were found shot dead in a jungle on the Northern Bypass road within the limits of Mochko police station. The bodies were shifted to the Civil Hospital Karachi for medico-legal formalities. Nobody at the police station attended the phone despite calling repeatedly.
Separately, Tariq Khan, 40, was shot dead by unidentified gunmen near Khan Muhammad Goth in Sohrab Goth. The body was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for autopsy. A youth, Muhammad Saleem, 23, son of Amanullah, was shot dead by unidentified gunmen near the Kabari Chowk graveyard in Baldia Town No 9. The body was shifted to the Civil Hospital Karachi for medico-legal formalities. An unidentified man, aged 28, was shot dead by unknown assailants in Photo Lane, Lyari. The body was shifted to the Civil Hospital Karachi for autopsy.
