On the recommendation of the Departmental Selection Committee, the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Nasir Khan Durrani has approved the promotion of 91 Sub-Inspectors (SIs) to the rank of Inspector. A notification in this regard was issued here on Wednesday.
A meeting of the Departmental Selection Committee was held few days back during which the cases of the promotion of Sub-Inspectors was reviewed and the recommendation prepared in this regard were sent to IGP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for approval. Those promoted to the rank of inspector were included SI, Israr Mohammad of Peshawar Region, Jawad Khan (Mardan Region) and Haji Akbar of Malakand Region.
