Nigeria's main share index shed 4 percent to almost a six-year low on Thursday, as foreign investors sold off stocks to repatriate funds, knocking the naira down to a new intraday low. The index fell to 34,515 points by 1129 GMT, a level last seen on November 11, 2008, and dragged down by the relatively liquid banking, consumer and oil and gas stocks.
