PMEX has become the member of Futures Industry Association (FIA) Asia, a leading trade organisation for the futures, options and cleared swaps markets worldwide. The Association supports open, transparent and competitive markets and promotes high standards of professional conduct. Its members include exchanges, clearing houses and trading firms from more than 25 countries as well as technology vendors, lawyers and other professionals serving the industry.
Commenting on the benefits of joining FIA - Asia, Ejaz Ali Shah, Managing Director, PMEX, said "This membership will enable the Exchange to participate at a global platform, network with industry peers, discuss common issues, exchange ideas and learn from the experience of other member exchanges." PMEX, being a national institution that commenced operations in 2007, is an integral part of Pakistan's capital market.-PR
