Futures spreads down by 388 basis points

The futures spreads decreased by 388 basis points on week-on-week basis to 4.64 per cent end of the last week. Trading activities on the futures counter remained low as the average daily volumes declined by 32.3 per cent to 23.21 million shares as compared to previous average of 10.04 million shares. Average value stood at Rs 2.147 billion, down by 22 per cent.
