A case of Tuesday's deadly road accident near Sukkur was registered on Wednesday against National Highway Authority (NHA). At least 58 people, including women and children, were killed and dozens others injured when an overloaded passenger bus collided with a goods truck near Sukkur. Initial reports prepared by Motorway authorities blamed badly maintained roads for the incident. However, some relevant authorities denied the poor road condition.

On the other hand, bodies of the victims, most of them from Swat, were handed over to heirs.
