President of All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) and former military ruler General Pervez Musharraf (retired) said on Wednesday that change was inevitable in Pakistan otherwise the future will be "gloomy and dark". Speaking to party supporters via telephone on Wednesday, Musharraf demanded that mid-term elections be held next year, saying the last polls were rigged.
"I was entangled in political issues. I will approach the court to challenge my disqualification," he announced. The former CoAS was of the view that economy was on the 'brink of collapse' due to terrorism.
