Five people were injured when a blast occurred near the vehicle of Sindh Rangers in Baldia Town here on Wednesday. According to rescue sources, the explosion took place in Lasi Para area of Baldia Town that injured five people, however, the Rangers personnel remained unhurt in the blast.
Eyewitnesses told that a motorcycle was destroyed in the blast and the Rangers' vehicle was also damaged. The police said that the explosive material was planted in a motorcycle parked near the Rangers vehicle. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment while security forces cordoned off the explosion site.
