The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Pakistan has announced to organise a networking session for its members in Karachi on Thursday. Dr Ishrat Husain, Dean IBA Karachi and former Governor State Bank of Pakistan will address on opportunities and future challenges in the global economy. The session will be conducted by Arif Mirza, Regional Head of Policy, MENASA, ACCA Pakistan.
During his six-year term, Dr Ishrat Husain restructured State Bank and revolutionised the banking sector and also as an advisor member of the economic management team for the Government of Pakistan played a key role in the impressive economic turnaround. With over 20 years of experience in both corporate and education sector, Arif Mirza Head of Policy MENASA ACCA will also share his expertise and experience with the attendees. Arif Mirza is also associated with the boards of FINCA Microfinance Bank Ltd, Institute of Capital Market (ICM) and technical advisor on the IFAC PAODC.
The upcoming session organised by ACCA Pakistan for its members will be focused on how ACCA members can better understand current economic challenges, hidden opportunities in the global economy for Pakistan and the struggle to overcome the economic issues that could turn around the economy of Pakistan.-PR
