Meat of dead animals seized in Karol Ghati

Food safety officers of the Punjab Food Department from Wahga Town held a rickshaw in the Karol Ghati area of the provincial metropolis and recovered meat of dead animals from it. Rickshaw owner Aslam Masih managed to escape from the scene while the officials of the food department arrested its workers Naeem Masih, Suleman Masih and Andras Masih and got registered an FIR against them in Gujjar Pura Police Station.
According to the information, employees of Aslam Masih confessed that they used to supply meat of dead animals in Bakkar Mandi. The officials recovered 2.5 to 3 maund meat of dead animals from the rickshaw.
