General Secretary All Pakistan Anjuman-e-Tajiran, Naeem Mir announced on Thursday that decision regarding shutter down strike against SRO (608) will be taken in a convention of traders which will be held on November 28, 2014 in Lahore. While addressing the press conference along with the representatives of various trade bodies of the country, Mir said that traders of the country were agitating against Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) SRO (608).
He urged the government to withdraw this SRO, which restricts the traders to document their business in details. He said traders will protest in front of the FBR office in Islamabad and 15 regional offices in the country against the said SRO. He also demanded from the government to put in place the mechanism of public-private dialogue so that the policies could be made result-oriented.
