Border Security Forces (BSF) of India on Saturday carried out unprovoked intense firing on villages in the Charwah Sector of the Sialkot Working Boundary. According to senior officials of the Chenab Rangers, the Indian BSF carried out unprovoked firing on villages in the Charwah Sector. BSF also fired some mortar shells, creating panic among the local people.
The Chenab Rangers retaliated the Indian aggression in a befitting manner, silencing Indian guns. CR officials added that the Indian BSF continued firing for about 15 minutes there from 10:00 am to 10:15 (Saturday). However, no loss of life or any injury was reported, according to CR officials.
