One person was killed and nine others wounded in a blast in the Khuzdar city of Balochistan on Sunday. Majeed Marri, a police officer, told media persons that the bomb went off near the Arbab Complex area of Khuzdar district. The blast damaged shops and smashed the window panes of nearby houses in the area.
The victims were rushed to the Civil Hospital of Khuzdar for medical treatment where an emergency was imposed.
Police and personnel of Frontier Corps reached the spot to investigate into the blast. The motive behind the blast could not be ascertained yet, the police officer said. No one claimed responsibility for the blast.
