Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) deputy chief Hafiz Muhammad Idrees on Sunday contacted Nazria-e-Pakistan Trust Secretary General Shahid Rashid and invited him to the JI Ijtema at the Minar-e-Pakistan, Lahore. The JI leader on the occasion said that the JI was starting a movement for the completion of the Pakistan Movement. He said that our forefathers had offered untold sacrifices for establishing this Muslim homeland and "we should also be ready to make every sacrifice for the same cause".
"We want to build Pakistan according to the vision of Allama Iqbal and Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and pass on to the young generation," he added.
Hafiz Muhammad Idrees said that conspiracies were going on to promote the Indian culture in this country so as to distance it from its ideology. However, he said, the Islam loving and patriotic people would foil all such plans.
