Legality of JC on Model Town incident: LHC seeks reply from Centre, Punjab government

A full bench of the Lahore High Court here on Monday directed Federal and Punjab governments to submit replies in a petition challenging legality of the judicial commission that inquired into Model Town incident by December 01. A bar member Aftab Ahmad Bajwa submitted that in the past, several judicial commissions were constituted but their recommendations were never implemented which raised question on the independence of judiciary.
