British police investigating an alleged terror plot on Thursday charged three men following raids this month, Scotland Yard said in a statement. Nadir Ali Sayed, 21, Yousaf Shah Syed, 19, and 27-year-old Haseeb Hamayoon, from in and around London, were charged with the intention of preparing and committing acts of terrorism. All three appeared at London's Westminster Magistrates Court on Thursday dressed in long grey tops.
The BBC said the three men may have been plotting "to behead somebody in the UK". A fourth man also arrested during the November 6 raids was released on Saturday, according to Scotland Yard. Hamayoon was arrested in a car, but no shots were fired, according to police.
