Punjab government spokesman, Syed Zaeem Hussain Qadri has welcomed PAT chairman Maulana Tahir-ul-Qadri's decision to take part in elections and electoral process. In a statement here on Sunday, the spokesman said PAT chief has asked people to give two third majority to his party in the next general elections that is a good omen. Every citizen has equal right to make political and democratic struggle, and welcomed Awami Tehrik in political field, he added.
He said that Maulana Tahir-ul-Qadri has expressed confidence in the parliament and elected institutions and his participation in bye-election and democratic process is a positive step.
Zaeem Qadri said, the present government is discharging its responsibilities in an efficient manner and baseless allegations by anyone can never impress the people, all the political parties will have to wait for 2018 to ascertain their popularity.
