Head of Jamiat Ahle Hadith Pakistan Professor Senator Sajid Mir called on Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, here on Sunday. Matters of mutual interest and political situation were discussed in the meeting. The Chief Minister said the country was passing through its critical phase while Pak Army was fighting against the enemies of peace to root out terrorism from the country. The whole nation is proud of the supreme sacrifices rendered by officers and Jawans of armed forces.
He said political stability and peace is essential for rapid development and promotion of economic activities. Ulema have to play their due role for the promotion of peace, brotherhood and tolerance in the society.
He said those staging sit-ins have wasted their time on useless activities and showed worst apathy to the flood affected people while Pakistan Muslim League-N government led by Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif extended all out help to flood-hit people and gave a historic package worth Rs 16 billion for relief and assistance to the flood affected people. Member National Assembly (MNA) Hafiz Abdul Karim was also present on the occasion.
