Three persons were killed and as many injured in separate mishaps in the city, here on Sunday. A woman, Tabasum, was found dead near 24 Market in Baldia, Saeedabad. Junaid Akhtar, 60, son of Muhammad Akhtar, was killed when a fast moving vehicle hit him near Eram Shopping Mall in Shadman area.
In another incident, Afroz, 21, son of Abdul Khaliq, was killed when a speeding vehicle hit him in Malir road. In yet another incident, Abdul Rehman, 30, son of Muhammad Shakoor, resident of Kettle colony, was injured when a fast moving vehicle hit him near Cattle colony police station.
A doctor was also shot dead in Organi town area of the city. The deceased identified as Dr Ziauddin, 45, son of Ismael, was killed by unknown armed men.
