ISE index down by 20.54 points

Bears retuned in the driving seat at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Monday, where losers outclassed gainers amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index showed a decrease of 20.54 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 4,156.15 to 4,135.61 points. The overall turnover amounted to 146,500 shares as compared to previous volume of 36,405 shares.
Total 158 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (111) closed in negative territory, 47 closed in positive territory, whereas no company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of PIA was 60,000 shares. The volume of Bank of Punjab was 45,000 shares. The volume of Fauji Cement was 25,000 shares.
