Security guards asked to wear only blue uniforms

The Home Department, Sindh has Under Section 144 (6) Cr PC imposed complete ban throughout the province on wearing of uniform by the guards of private security companies resembling with police and other Law-enforcement agencies(LEAs). The guards of private security companies should wear prescribed blue uniform as approved by the Home Department, a handout said here on Wednesday.
The ban has also been imposed on carrying of weapon without attested copy of licence/documents duly countersigned by senior officer of the security company with immediate effect.
