South Punjab: presence of Daish, Taliban a challenge to government: SIC chief
The Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) Chairman Sahibzada Hamid Raza Qadri has said the presence of Daish and Taliban in the South Punjab a challenge to the government and people are receiving life threats in the name of Daish because of wrong-doings of rulers. Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, he predicted fresh elections in a year as the government has failed to deliver. The SIC chairman said Daish and Taliban have safe haven in South Punjab which need to be rooted out.
Criticising lifting of ban on Sipaha-e-Sehaba Pakistan, he said the government did not provide evidences of SSP's involvement into terrorism to the court and created a supportive environment for the restoration of SSP through court. The PML-N provided relief to killers of innocent people Malik Ishaq in violation of rule and law. He said the SIC is going to hold public meetings with allied parties on Saturday in Bahawalpur and Sunday in Bhakkar. He said the government has failed in providing relief to the common man and the general public. They were facing many problems such as domestic gas shut down, unscheduled electricity load shedding. The farmers were protesting against low prices of commodities. All sections of the society have been suffered due to bad governance of the rullers.
About differences between Dr Tahirul Qadri and Imran Khan, he said that is wrong and both leaders have the common mission and objectives. The SIC office bearers Sahibzada Saeed Ahmed Farooqi, Sardar Allah Diwaya Lashari, Rao Arif Rizvi, Niyiaz Butha and Ashfaq were also present on the occasion.
