SAARC moot 'Need to resolve Indo-Pak issues first'

JI Deputy Secretary General, Dr Farid Ahmed Piracha has said that the SAARC conference could achieve its objectives only if the issues between Pakistan and India will be resolved. In a statement here on Wednesday, he said that India had been occupying Kashmir by force for the last six decades and is avoiding plebiscite there which is clear violation of the UN Resolutions.
He also urged Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to highlight the issue of the trials of the JI leaders in Bangladesh during SAARC moot in violation of the tripartite agreement between Pakistan, India and Bangladesh in 1971.
