Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Wednesday has condemned the killing of as many as four anti-polio campaign workers in Quetta. According to a statement issued from London, Hussain said that the purpose of attacks on polio workers in different parts of the country is to not let Pakistan progress by disabling the 'future' of the country that is youth.
He said that terrorists are framing different propagandas to fulfil this purpose. Hussain also said that he pays salute to all the men and women polio volunteers who are providing vaccine to the children by going to every corner of the country. He urged the Balochistan Chief Minister to nab the culprits involved in the incident and take action against the people responsible for negligence in protection of the polio teams. Hussain further urged the CM to increase compensation and benefits for the volunteers.
