Some unidentified motorcyclists on Sunday attacked media vans with crackers at Faizabad Interchange, leaving three media persons injured. Police and eyewitness said that two persons riding a bike hurled crackers near media van at Faizabad interchange and escaped. The cracker blast also damaged digital satellite news gathering (DSNG) vehicles. The injured media personnel were rushed to the hospital where they are stated to be stable.
Soon after the blast, police personnel rushed there and started search for the arrest of criminals.
